Brian Vahey

Vice President – Atlantic Region
The American Waterways Operators

Brian Vahey is Vice President of the Atlantic Region for the American Waterways Operators, the national trade association for the tugboat, towboat, and barge industry. In this role he has worked closely with towing vessel operators and other stakeholders on navigation safety issues, including ensuring effective coordination between agencies, operators, and developers on the safe location of wind energy areas. Brian has been with AWO since 2008.
